This article outlines the best country music Wedding songs and love songs that are appropriate for your Wedding. This has a mixture of Australian Country musicians as well as American so suitable for Weddings worldwide. I have taken part in over 600 weddings over various job roles and there are some songs that pull my heart strings. These country music love songs are perfect for your Wedding. They’re the songs that make you believe in love, they’re the songs that make you want to be a better person and think of a special person and smile from ear to ear. As a country girl at heart, this may be some of my personal favourite modern country wedding songs, and a few classic country wedding songs. I also did some research with some of my friends at CMC Rocks and these love songs resonated best with plenty of couples. But hey, I’ve never been married, so I’m happy to share these with you.
There are so many songs you need to consider for your wedding. Hey, I’m a celebrant to let’s chat ceremony music;
1. Walking down the aisle, depending the size of your bridal party you can have 1 or 2 songs. Some couples have one for the bridesmaids / flower girls/ page boys and a separate song for the bride. However many couples just have one song for everyone.
2. Signing the marriage certificate, I recommend 2 songs.
3. Departing the ceremony, I would recommend something upbeat.
Then let’s talk reception music.
- Entry into reception, depending the size of your bridal party you can have 1 or 2 songs.
- Cutting the cake – 1 song
- Bridal Waltz
- Father Daughter Dance and/or mother/son dance.
- Song to have everyone join in – following the traditional dances.
- Bouquet toss traditionally for the single ladies, these days you can alternate to the longest lasting couple where all couples married dance together on the dance floor and the MC will call out “2 years” then any couples that have been married less than two years exit the dance floor. This will continue to 5 years, 10 years and so on. The MC will continually eliminate couples and the last couple will receive the bouquet.

- Farewell circle traditionally or can be a farewell arch – imagine Greece (the movie) or a sparkler send-off (venue and fire restrictions permitting)
